Super Tools

Privacy Policy

Plain-language answers about what Super Tools does — and doesn't — do with your information.

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Quick summary (the plain-English version)

  • Super Tools works mostly offline. Almost every tool runs entirely on your device without an internet connection.
  • We — Zano Studio — do not collect, see, or store any of your personal data on any server.
  • The only online feature is the Currency Converter, which fetches live exchange rates from a public API. No personal data is sent.
  • The app shows ads through Google AdMob and sells subscriptions through Google Play Billing — both are run by Google and may process limited technical data under Google's own privacy policy.
  • You're always in control of ad personalization through your device's Google settings.
Introduction

About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Super Tools ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile application. Super Tools is an all-in-one utility toolbox designed to work primarily offline, with only a single online feature (Currency Converter) that fetches public exchange-rate data.

By downloading, installing, or using Super Tools, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

This policy applies only to Super Tools and does not cover any third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked to or used within the app (such as Google Play).

No data collection

Information we don't collect

Super Tools is built to function almost entirely offline. We do not operate any backend server for the app's core features, and as a result:

  • We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier.
  • We do not access your contacts, microphone, or precise GPS location.
  • We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
  • We do not run our own analytics or crash-reporting services that send data to us.

All data created inside the app — such as favorites, settings, and tool outputs — is stored on your device only. We simply have no way of seeing this information.

Note: If a future version of Super Tools adds optional features such as cloud sync, account sign-in, or crash reporting, this policy will be updated in advance, and — where required by law — your consent will be requested before any such feature is enabled.
Third-party services

Third-party services we use

While we don't collect any data ourselves, Super Tools uses services provided by Google to keep the app free and to offer optional paid upgrades. These services operate under Google's own privacy policy, not ours, and may process limited technical data as described below.

1. Google AdMob (Advertising)

We use Google AdMob to show ads inside the app, which allows us to offer Super Tools for free. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may automatically collect certain technical information, such as:

Data typeWhy it's used
Advertising IDAd personalization, frequency capping, and measurement
Device information (model, OS version)Ensuring ads display correctly on your device
Approximate location (from IP address)Regional ad relevance and legal compliance
App interaction data (e.g. ad clicks/views)Ad performance, fraud prevention

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising at any time from your device settings.

2. Google Play Billing (Subscriptions & Purchases)

Super Tools offers an optional Premium upgrade with monthly, yearly, and lifetime plans. All payments are processed entirely by Google Play Billing — we never see, receive, or store your card details or any other payment information.

  • Google may process your purchase history, transaction ID, and subscription status to complete the purchase and confirm your entitlement to Premium features.
  • Your subscription (renewal, cancellation, refund requests) is managed directly through the Google Play Store, not inside the app.
  • We only receive a simple confirmation that a purchase was successful, so the app can unlock Premium features on your device.
Online features

Currency converter API

The only tool in Super Tools that requires an internet connection is the Currency Converter. When you use this tool:

  • The app sends a request to a public currency exchange API to fetch the latest conversion rates.
  • Only the currency pair and amount you enter are transmitted — no personal identifiers, device info, or location data is included.
  • The API provider may log the request IP address for rate-limiting and service stability purposes.

This is a standard, read-only API call. We do not control the API server, and the data exchanged is limited to the conversion data you explicitly request.

App permissions

Permissions this app uses

Below is a plain-language explanation of the permissions Super Tools may request, and why:

PermissionPurpose
InternetTo fetch currency exchange rates and to load advertisements.
Access Network StateTo check if the device is online before attempting network requests.
CameraTo scan QR codes, barcodes, and to power the magnifier tool. Only used when you open those specific tools.
FlashlightTo turn on the device flash as a torch when you use the flashlight tool.
VibrateTo provide haptic feedback for certain tool actions, if enabled.
Post NotificationsTo send you optional reminders or alerts from tools that support scheduling.
Write External Storage (Android 9 and below)To save exported files (e.g., notes, calculations) to your device storage. Not used on Android 10+.

None of these permissions are used to collect, transmit, or share personal information off your device.

Optional hardware: The app also declares optional support for camera, camera flash, and compass sensors. If your device lacks these, the corresponding tools simply won't be available — the app will still work perfectly for everything else.
Local storage

Local data & storage

Every setting, favorite, and tool output you create lives in private app storage on your device. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party as part of normal app use.

If you use a tool that generates a file (for example, exporting notes or saving a calculation):

  • The file is saved to your own device's storage, in a location you choose.
  • If you choose to share, email, or upload that file yourself via your phone's share menu, that action is entirely up to you and is governed by the privacy policy of whichever app or service you shared it with.
  • We do not automatically upload your files anywhere.
Note: Some Android devices automatically back up app data to a user's personal Google Account as part of Android's built-in backup system. This is a device-level feature controlled by Google and your phone's settings — not something Super Tools initiates or has access to.
Children

Children's privacy

Super Tools is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and — as explained throughout this policy — we do not collect personal information from any user at all. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service integrated into this app (such as AdMob), please contact us so we can look into it, and contact Google directly regarding their services.

Your rights

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe), UK GDPR, or CCPA (California) to access, correct, delete, or export personal data held about you.

Because Super Tools does not collect or store any personal data on our own servers, there is generally no data for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. For data processed by Google on behalf of AdMob or Google Play Billing, you can exercise your rights directly through Google:

We do not sell your personal information, and we have no personal information to sell.

Security

Data security

Since your app data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us, the security of that data largely depends on the security of your own device — for example, using a screen lock and keeping your operating system up to date. Data processed by Google's services (AdMob, Play Billing) is protected under Google's own security practices, described in their privacy policy.

Updates

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature that changes how data is handled. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically, and where a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, through an in-app message or app store update notes).
